To follow up on Phil’s post below…this thing about Maguire’s back pain keeping him from being in the sequel appears to be just a rumor. As Sarah “Scribbler” Beach points out over on the Dixonverse board, if he were off of the sequel to one of the year’s biggest blockbusters, it would be much bigger news.
You can ignore the rest of that thread, unless you really didn’t like Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker. I thought he was excellent. This is the first time I’ve encountered anyone who didn’t like his performance.
