I was just checking out ICV2 this morning and it announces that Calendar Girl: Pin Ups of Post-World War II with commentary by Max Allan Collins comes out in May. Looks cool to me! It has a $40 cover price, but Amazon has it for only $28 with free shipping.
Hmmm…I may have just found a good book for putting in the new ad rotation for Monitor Duty!
Max Allan Collins is, of course, an expert on that whole era of American history. Writing “Road to Perdition” certainly didn’t hurt his reputation, either.
