The Minnesota Comic Book Association has sent out an updated guest list for MicroCon 2003, which is this Saturday in Maplewood (a northern suburb of St. Paul, MN).
I’ve been both an attendee and a guest at both FallCon and MicroCon. The MNCBA people are great and generous. Last Fall I was a guest (along with Fanzing artists Phil Meadows, Erik Burnham and Kevin Voith).
I’ve debated whether to attend MicroCon simply because Fanzing has wrapped, Monitor Duty was still launching and Job Wanted won’t be ready to sell until Fall 2003. (We’ll definitely be doing a big promo for FallCon.) I know the MNCBA guys would try to give me a guest space even at this late date if I contacted them. At this point, I’m planning to attend as a guest, drop off some promotional fliers and wander around freely promoting Monitor Duty and Job Wanted.
