Freecomicbookday.com has images of the 9 comics available for FCBD. If any of you are not readers of Way of the Rat, I encourage you to grab that one if you can. I haven’t read any of the others, but it’s obvious that they’ve been picked for audience-identification. You’ve got Wolverine, Transformers, Robocop/Stargate, The debut issue of all-new Batman Adventures, Metallix (which made me think of the Beetleborgs, but this announcement doesn’t mention it anywhere). Leave it to Chance sounds good, but I question the wisdom of choosing a cover that’s more fearsome than inviting, what with the scary red devil on it.
However, I wasn’t aware that many other comic book publishers are giving away books that day as well. Wonderful to see such enthusiasm all across the industry.
