Let me get this straight: Season Two of the Justice League animated series doesn’t debut until OCTOBER? It feels like I’ve been watching these reruns forever, and yet there are six more months to wait! Oy.
It sounds like Cartoon Network felt that the last season dragged out between the production of new episodes. I don’t know why that would seem unusual, given that all TV shows are like that. Perhaps they had a harder time maintaining interest because of the flakey scheduling?
To add insult to injury, “The Savage Time” was only shown as a movie and is not part of the regular episode rotation. Savage Time was not even ANNOUNCED on Cartoon Network’s own Justice League web site, so I (and I’m betting a lot of you) missed it. If not for downloading it, I’d still have missed one of the best episodes they’ve done.
Rest assured, I’m keeping as many feelers out as possible so that if The Savage Time is shown again I can alert everyone here. Just another reason to visit Monitor Duty!
