Mark Alessi has announced that CrossGen failed to submit materials to the Eisners. Mark publicly apologizes to the readers…I would imagine it’s to staunch any rumors that the Eisners were biased. I’m sure there was much gnashing of teeth at CrossGen, especially when Way of the Rat was the first new book to stand a really good chance of getting an award for something. (And Route 666 is pretty good as well. CG’s more recent offerings have shown marked improvement.)
So…can I get hired as CrossGen’s “Eisner Submittal Guy”? Sounds like the position is open.
