Minnesota kid invents his own game

Finally, I have some gaming news to post. Again, this tip comes from the MNCBA, as well it might since it’s about a local kid who makes good.

A sixth-grader in Stillwater, Minnesota, has invented his own game. It is called Vortex and it involves weird dice, a board, game pieces and playing cards with hundreds of creatures that he drew in a large binder. The rules were impossible for the adult reporter to follow, which means this is exactly the kind of thing that kids will eat with a spoon.
