I SAID they come in threes!
On the Adult Swim messageboards (link requires registration), it was announced that Harry Goz, the voice of Captain Murphy on SeaLab 2021, passed away from cancer this week.
I learned of this on the Digital Archive Project’s boards. They add:
No word just yet on how/if Sealab continues, but a replacement actor would not likely be well-received by the show’s fans.
Part of me hopes they do a story getting rid of Captain Murphy in some humorous way (considering almost everyone dies in nearly every episode, it couldn’t be hard to do) and continue the series. Then again, no matter how good the show has gotten, the show without Goz’s Murphy would be hard to imagine.
