I was never as hot on the old Flash TV show. Frankly, it was far too “Batman,” as though the producers didn’t dare wander from the tone of the successful Tim Burton film. THAT worked, so let’s copy that. And this new Flash show seems to take the same attitude. “Smallville” works, so let’s copy that.
