Kids age 9-12 play Pong as well as many other “classic” video games and then give their opinion. Best quote (about Pong):
Tim: My line is so beating the heck out of your stupid line. Fear my pink line. You have no chance. I am the undisputed lord of virtual tennis. [Misses ball] Whoops.
I don’t feel THAT old, because those games were lame when they came out. I mean, come on. The Superman game where Superman’s a blue squiggle with a red line indicating a cape, and he grabs Lex Luthor who is a purple/green line with a black line on his back because he’s wearing a helicoptor? That sucked then and we were fully aware of that. But the games were addictive…as even these kids prove.
