Even more bad news for CGE

Oy, this is getting worse.

MV Creations, makers of the comic book adaptations of He-Man, Dragon’s Lair and Space Ace, has severed their ties with CrossGen after CGE failed to pay them the total amount due for their recent books. This has caused MV Creations financial difficulties as well, as they haven’t been able to pay their licensing fees.

Considering all of the trouble this made for MV Creations, Val Staples was quite gracious:

“After discussing things with CGE, we all felt it best that we part ways while CrossGen restructures and attempts to get things back on track and creator payments caught up. We all hope the situation improves for CrossGen. The last thing this industry needs is another publisher who falls off the map.”
