GASP! It can’t be true that Michael Moore is generating a false controversy in order to get publicity! There have been screaming headlines of late that Moore’s new anti-Bush movie, timed to come out right before the election, won’t be released by Disney because they’re censoring him. Of course, they said that they wouldn’t distribute it exactly a year ago, so it’s being news now is a false controversy.
The film will, of course, get a distributor.
On the flip side, another film that I hope will find a distributor is Michael Moore Hates America, which has just released its trailer. Perhaps John McCain and Russ Feingold will amend their campaign finance rules to say that if the one wants to run in theaters the other has to be shown in those same theaters.
All right…enough movie stuff. I’m going to hunt up some comic news for the next hour.
