Tripping the Rift started out as an off-color adult cartoon short and it’s now a late night TV series on the Sci-Fi Channel. I haven’t seen an episode yet, so I can’t tell you how it compares to the original, though there’s no way it could include the language and nudity of the short. However, the new show features the voices of Gina Gershon, Stephen Root (who was in the original) and Maurice Lamarche (a/k/a The Brain).
I didn’t realize the show was on already, as I haven’t had a reason to watch Sci-Fi since they stopped making Mystery Science Theater 3000.
