The Drudge Report says that an unnamed official in the Bush White House is upset about the Team America movie, which is set to open two weeks before the election.
Frankly, I think this guy can’t know Parker and Stone too well. They don’t like conservatives, but they HATE liberals. The trailer says that George Bush won’t like the movie…but all of the other people listed who won’t like the movie are bigmouth liberal movie stars. I’m betting the movie will have a perspective quite different from the one on display in Fahrenheit 9/11.
Someone needs to show this White House official the South Park episodes “Osama Bin Laden Has Farty Pants” where Cartman takes care of Osama Bugs Bunny-style and “Red Sleigh Down” where Santa tries to bring Christmas to Iraq.
