The trailer’s out for the Dukes of Hazzard movie. Sheez. Let’s all stampede like cattle to the theater for a retread of a show that was pretty lame the first time. Mooooooooo.

I really enjoyed the TV show back in the day. And I was somewhat hopeful when I heard they were turning it into a movie. But after seeing the trailer I think I’ll pass. The only reason it’s worth seeing is for the General Lee, and I can wait for the DVD rental for that.

After seeing how the characters are portrayed I have to ask, did the writers not watch one epsiode of the show? They totally missed on all accounts. A skinny Boss Hogg? A fat, old Roscoe? Dumb and goofy versions of Bo and Luke? A *wink, wink – nudge, nudge* version of Uncle Jesse? Talk about missing the boat. Now I know how fans of TV shows like Wild Wild West felt.

On the bright side, at least Lynda Carter still looks good.
