As a cube farm worker, I absolutely loved the movie “Office Space”. I bought the VHS tape and watched it again and again. That was back in 1999/2000…probably only a few months before my wife and I bought our first DVD player.
I hated the idea of paying ANOTHER $15 for that DVD, so I waited for it to drop in price like all those other $9.99 movies at Best Buy. And I waited. We’re talking years. Finally, I caved in and bought it for $14.99.
Frankly, I was surprised to see that I should have just kept my VHS tape. There aren’t commentaries or anything.
So what happens after I FINALLY buy the DVD?
They DO come out with a loaded DVD, the “Special Edition With Flair.” Bastards.
I hate double-dipping. And yeah, I’m going to end up doing it, because I’m a big p***y… which is why I work at Initech to begin with.
