Agony Booth posts new review

Hudson Hawk gets its wings clipped by an Agony Booth Mega Review.

I wish their site could post new reviews more often. This one’s hilarious just for the many pictures of Bruce Willis mugging for the camera. I never watched Hudson Hawk; the trailer, in which Bruce tried very hard to be funny as he’s dragged behind a vehicle, seemed awful enough.

I know somebody that went to the box office and demanded his money back after watching about 30 minutes of this movie.

The movie people gave him a free pass to another movie.

I really liked Hudson Hawk. It was too “out there” to take seriously. It had near slapstick, loony toons like comedy…including the sound effects. Then throw in musical numbers (which actually have a logical purpose n the movie, rather than being random singing.) It’s just a fun, silly, romp. Really, it’s the type of movie the Charlie’s Angels flicks try to be (even in style), but is a much smarter movie than either of those. And it’s the only role I ever saw fitting Sandra Bernhardt. She might have lasted longer if she kept playing the ugly, evil witch.
