Comedian Richard Jeni, 49, has died of a gunshot wound to the face. Jeni played Jim Carrey’s best friend in “Mask” and later had his own TV show, “Platypus Man” on UPN for one season.

This is a really weird, tragic, sad story. I’m sure there will be a follow up that says something like he was depressed or something like that guy who hosted Family Fued before Richard Karn.
