All I have to do is put a tag on the first podcast, since I split it up. Some sort of “see you next time” message. Simple. Except that I can’t get my microphone to work.
A month ago, my computer was crashing so much that I pulled it open and cleaned it out. There was enough dust in the thing to build my own model of the Fuzzball. I’m guessing that when I connected the sound plugs (which involves trying to hook the thing up in the darkened corner of the room while guessing as to what the unlabeled colored jacks mean) I plugged something into the microphone jack, so it is ignoring all input from my front microphone jack. Only thing that makes sense, since I’ve tried two different mics. This means I have to haul the whole desk away from the wall and crawl down there to try to figure it out.
I’m half tempted to splice someone else’s “see you next time!” on the end of the podcast just to post it.
