For the uninitiated: You are missing out on one of the funniest sci-fi comedies ever. A guy gets put in his ship’s stasis chamber as punishment, there’s a nuclear accident, and the ship’s computer releases him when the radiation dies down three million years later. Humans are gone, his only companions are a hologram of his detestable roommate, the senile ship’s computer, a lifeform that evolved from his pregnant cat and an android butler that they find caring for the well-being of some skeletons.
