DC Comics has warned all of their freelance creators that they must have three issues ready of the newly relaunched titles by August 31st. Comicsbeat has more, including talkback comments by Cully Hammer and Kurt Busiek!
Prediction: by issue #3, artists may be taking a cue from Keith Giffen and get some in-family assistance in completing the issue.
