Dungeons and Dragons movie sequel

Posted on March 10, 2006 by thehutch

Sci-Fi Channel has a review of Dungeons & Dragons: Wrath of the Dragon God, the straight-to-DVD sequel to the regrettable and forgettable 2000 movie. In short: better than the first one.

2006 Razzies

Posted on March 7, 2006 by thehutch

The Razzie Awards for 2005 films didn’t really generate much news this last week. The list is so forgettable that I didn’t even recall many of the movies on the list. Then again, that was true even for the Oscars.

Posted on March 6, 2006 by thehutch

On Mondays, I check the comics that ran over the weekend, including Day By Day by Chris Muir. For a few months, Muir has been doing new Sunday strips, and frankly, they kind of suck. The first panel promotes the fact it’s a Sunday strip, leaving only two panels for the joke which isn’t much…

Thank you, Target!

Posted on March 2, 2006 by thehutch

If Target hadn’t been cleared out of Firefly box sets last week, I’d have paid $30 for it! As it is, I have a rain check in my wallet to go buy it when they restock. But it’s not going to be used because AMAZON NOW HAS IT FOR TWENTY DOLLARS!!!! Thank you to Mr….

Spider-Man 3 costume

Posted on February 28, 2006 by thehutch

I’m five days late on the black Spider-Man costume in Spidey 3 issue. I haven’t even seen it until today. Thanks to Neal and Chris (neither of whom posted here about this major story; what’s up with that, guys?) for getting me a link when I finally had to ask for help in finding it.

It’s up, it’s updated and it’s on sale!

Posted on February 27, 2006 by thehutch

My comic books for sale site is updated. I fixed up the entry page, lowered prices all over the place, added a ton of pictures and tweaked it here and there. The one thing I have yet to do is add all of my trade paperbacks for sale, but that’s going to be a whole…
