Posted on April 7, 2004 by thehutch

The new trailer for Kill Bill Vol. 2 features the music from the final confrontation in “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.” View the large version if you can. Personally, I’m waiting until this film is out in a complete two-disk DVD. I wonder how many other people are doing the same? It could…

Passion close to 1/2 billion $$$!

Posted on April 7, 2004 by thehutch

The Passion of the Christ is getting close to $500 million in total sales with over 80 million in International sales so far. And that doesn’t even count Italy, where it opened yesterday. I can’t imagine how much it will make it Italy! The film may never stop playing in that country.

April Fools Jokes

Posted on April 2, 2004 by thehutch

Sorry I was sick April 1st and couldn’t get you the news as it came in; by the time I was cruising the web, all I could find was people confessing to their April Fools pranks and pulling down the original web pages. Crap, we didn’t even do an April Fools joke on Monitor Duty….

PvP in top 100 at Amazon.com

Posted on April 2, 2004 by thehutch

PvP’s new trade paperback has made it into the top 100 at Amazon.com thanks to Scott Kurtz’s announcement to his readership…which should be a better indicator than anything else of the size of PvP’s audience. The Dork Ages collects the original stories (but not the strip reprints) of the six issues of PvP published by…

Posted on March 31, 2004 by thehutch

While this new Hellboy trailer doesn’t really show much you haven’t seen if you got your free 10-minute preview disk at Best Buy, it is fun to watch. By the way…is anyone else getting sick of this “James Cameron nighttime blue” that’s in every big movie nowadays? It seems like every lighting guy must have…

I need a tissue

Posted on March 31, 2004 by thehutch

Oy vey. Tonight’s episode of Century City really got to me. Best episode yet. This one was about…oh, I can’t say, just watch the trailer on the CBS site it on Hulu. Good news, though! I thought there were only four episodes, which made me fear that this was just a mid-season dumping of a…
