Posted on July 29, 2009 by thehutch

Best picture from Comic-Con yet!

Posted on July 28, 2009 by thehutch

I’m not going to be a bandwidth-thief.  If you want to see it, go to Big Hollywood. The first commenter wins the caption contest: “For once, middle-aged, out of shape fanboys have the perfect body type for the characters they’re cosplaying.”

One of the great sci-fi dramas is now online!

Posted on July 19, 2009 by thehutch

Several years ago, I posted about one of my favorite TV shows, “Century City”. A legal drama set about 30 years in the future, the show boasted a tremendous cast (including Ioan Gruffud of Fantastic Four and Amazing Grace and Nestor Carbonell of The Tick and Dark Knight), a fine SFX budget, and terrific writing….

Way to go, Brad!

Posted on July 18, 2009 by thehutch

I’ve posted before about how Brad is now the most awesome character in the Luann strip. I’ve been following his career with great interest. I CANNOT believe I just quoted “The Phantom Menace”. 🙁

Idleson: “I never want to see Supergirl’s panties again”

Posted on July 9, 2009 by thehutch

He recently issued the edict, “I never want to see Supergirl’s panties again.” For the past few years, Supergirl has been seen wearing little more than a frill that seems to stay…

Farewell, Mr. Jefferson

Posted on June 26, 2009 by thehutch

Mark Steyn, a great obituarist, talked with Hugh Hewitt about Michael Jackson showing us the price paid for our exploitation of child stars, noting how “Lindsay Lohan is about 22 now. She’s got etched into her face that…
