"Frontline" is a fantastic Australian comedy satirizing the lack of ethics in current affairs shows. It's been shown on Comedy Central as "Behind the Frontline" and can also be seen on PBS as "Breaking News". It's main character is Mike Moore, the newsanchor who sees himself as a hard-hitting journalist but is really a bit of a dunce. Mike is actually more trusting and ethical than his co-workers, but he's gullible and easily led.
Other characters include: Brooke Vandenburg, the office climber who's a witch with a capital B; Martin DiStasio, the grizzled veteran who's not good looking enough to anchor; Geoffrey Salter, the weatherman who is Mike's only true friend; Emma, the hard-working genius reporter who does the actual work for Brooke and Mike; and best of all, Dominica, the receptionist who performs weird experiments on her hair every day.
