  • James Rebhorn, SecDef in ID4, dies of skin cancer at 65

A farewell to James Rebhorn, who was in a ton of stuff, but I will always think of him as the SecDef in Independence Day.  Turns out he had been fighting cancer for 22 years. R.I.P.

  • “Who Is Donna Troy?” still packs a punch

We got linked from an article over at CBR and I followed the link. Just seeing two scans of  New Teen Titans by Wolfman and Perez on that page managed to get me to tear up.  Dang, but that comic was powerful. New Teen Titans #38, “Who Is Donna Troy?”, remains one of the best…

  • Superman actually hits somebody!!!

  • I must ask…

I just watched Tim Burton’s “Alice In Wonderland” because I was clearing out the DVR. (We had gotten a free movie channels weekend, which offered me a great opportunity to fill the DVR with movies I would never pay to see like Alice in Wonderland, Predators, Transformers 2, The Sorceror’s Apprentice, etc.) I found “Alice”…

So far in 2010, following the birth of a new girl, they have posted a message that their production schedule would be infrequent due to the new baby…and followed that with only one new April Fools cartoon and…

  • It had to happen. A Smurfs CGI/Live Action movie.

Hey, Alvin and the Chipmunks made money. So it’s time for Smurfs. Oy.

  • Hiatus?

I didn’t mean to go on hiatus, but I’m working on a new Metro Med script and it’s taken up all of my evening writing time. I should be back with more posts and podcasts very soon.
