Giving Thanks At MonitorDuty.com
Holidays usually mean a lean time for postings due to visiting relatives and limited computer access, so I want to leave you with this. (Having written that, I’ll probably post a dozen times now.) Here’s my list of things for which I’m thankful. Well, Monitor Duty-related things, or we’d be here all night. I’m not…

More Amazon wishlist shtuff
Alan Kistler now has a wish list but for some reason it isn’t search-able in their system the way mine is. Odd. Alan’s trying to fix that. It appears that Amazon has just restructured their Wish List system this weekend, with a new look and better functionality. If you don’t have a wish list, just…

Everyone who has posted here legitimately (i.e. no offers of barnyard sex or enlargement pills) has been granted the status of “approved commenter”. Your next comments should be showing up without any…

New Monitor Duty system
After a few hours of problems, I have gotten the Monitor Duty’s blogging system, Moveable Type, upgraded to version 3.2. It does look sweet and includes many new features, which I will be extending through the use of plugins. Monitor Duty contributors, be sure to give it a test! Also, anyone wanting to join the…

New message board!
Monitor Duty Central is now on the air! I copied over all of the posts from our old messageboard last night, so it’s ready to go. You will need to set up a new membership for this board. I will change links to the forum later tonight.
