Dear DC: Concerning “52”, Week 51, Page 19…

You owe me $2.50.

Oh, not that I want my money back or anything. Not at all! That was an awesome payoff and I couldn’t have figured it out in a million years even though in retrospect it makes total sense.

But I barfed all over the page and had to get a replacement copy.

Actually, I haven’t opened my new copy yet. Let’s take a look…

Oh great.

Now you owe me $5.

Remember the good old days when the monster at the end of the book was an embarrassed Grover?

One response to “Dear DC: Concerning “52”, Week 51, Page 19…”

  1. Right now I’m reading both 52 and Justice. And to see that (spoiler alert)Mr. Mind is at the heart of both storylines is…intersting.

I realize that Alex Ross has set his story in the Silver Age where Wonder Woman was a founding member of the Justice League, and 52 is set in a universe where Wonder Woman and Black Canary were founding memebers of the Justice League (what?), but isn’t this a little redundant and overuse of Mr. Mind?
