I never mentioned Buzzscope before, and now twice in one day. Weird.
Seems they wanted to have “Busted Knuckles” to be written by a woman, but when Beau Smith went to the sex change operation they broke the saw. Until they can find something that cuts through brass, they opted instead to switch Beau with Buzzscope Columnist Ronée Garcia Bourgeois.
(Ronée Bourgeois. Didn’t he play Odo?)
Oy. Beware the manly comic book cover this week!

Busted Knuckles And Buzzscope Go Transsexual
Beau Smith and Ronée Bourgeois In A Gender Bending Battle
Ceredo, WV. January 30,2006— In what can only be described as the true battle of the sexes, "Busted Knuckles" Columnist, Beau Smith, goes toe to toe with Buzzscope "What A Girl Wants" columnist, Ronée Garcia Bourgeois. This week there is a gender switching of columns.
Beau Smith moves to Buzzscope to rule "What A Girl Wants". In return, Ronée Bourgeois takes over "Busted Knuckles" and sets up house.
“I just figured it was about time somebody put that damn cowboy in his place! We all know he secretly wants a strong woman to take control…" Commented Ronée Bourgeois as she put up girly drapes at Beau’s once manly ranch.
The switch of columns this week has caused quite a stir among not only the comic book community, but the world of pop culture. Lots of regular readers of Busted Knuckles showed up to read their favorite column and though instead that they had stumbled onto "BrokeBeau Mountain."
The same is true of long time readers of "What A Girl Wants." They woke up this morning to find that someone (Beau Smith) had spilled a heavy dose of testosterone all over their favorite "girls" column. There’s talk of the site now having to take a home pregnancy test. It’s well known that it’s not safe to have someone as potent as Beau Smith around anything so fertile.
"Somebody had to do something. I heard that Ronée was using terms like Man-Divas and Best Boys over there on her column. I just figured I had to go over there and teach em’ that it’s not "What A Girl Wants.", It’s "What A Girl Needs." I am that need." Beau Smith said as he set fire to Ronée’s collection of Indy comics.
See what it’s all about. Watch the fur and the fists fly as these two pop culture powerhouses go at it armed only with a beer bottle opener and a single high heel.
Click on the link filled with testosterone or the one that has the stench of estrogen. The choice is yours. Choose wisely.
