If you’re in the Minnesota area on Sunday, APRIL 30th, then you need to not be a loser and get your butt over to the latest annual MICRO-CON – “The One Day Wonder.” Micro-Con is a small comic comvention and is a function of the Mid-West Comic Book Association (MCBA). It’s going to be held at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds at the Progress Center, 1621 Randall Ave., St. Paul, MN 55108.
There will be contests, free prizes and give-aways, free creator autographs, dealers, fellow fans. Admission is only $5.00 (free if you’re 9 or younger) and what’s more, it will be host to a special appearance by none other than MICHAEL HUTCHISON HIMSELF! ((crowd roars!)) So if you wanna meet Hutch and have some fun in the mid-west with fellow comic fans (and how does that not sound like a good time?), you need to make a point to stop over to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds on the 30th.
Otherwise, you obviously hate babies.
Other than being my boss and the main brain/overlord behind Monitor Duty, Michael Hutchison is the creator/writer of the comic METRO MED, which is a wonderfully fun read about what a hospital staff has to go through in a world full of super-heroes.
Keep on reading if you want more info on what the Mid-West Comic Book Association has coming up soon.
