The DC Panel revealed a few goodies:
Mark Waid is now exclusive to DC.
All magic will be destroyed at the end of “Day of Vengeance”. (Umm…isn’t that kind of the ending they’re giving away there?) Instead of magic there will be “something different”.
The Red Hood will appear in Teen Titans, where Tim Drake and Jason Todd will fight.
Captain Atom will Quantum Leap into the Wildstorm Universe, and apparently he’s back to the…ugh…Kingdom Come uniform. (I’m sorry, but Alex Ross seems to be the only person capable of pulling off that ugly design.)
One response to “San Diego Comicon: DC Panel”
I think this is great news for Mark Waid… what startles me is that you failed to mention the new BRAVE AND THE BOLD Waid will be writing in addition to an editorial role his exclusive contract with DC will facilitate!
You are not alone in finding that Captain Atom outfit from Kingdom Come to be horrid. BLEAH! Here is hoping that the character gets much better treatment though over the next year!
{Ed. Note: I was skimming the article — as I’ve said, I’m in a deadline crunch for the Metro Med comic and I don’t have much time for reporting — and didn’t even read about the Brave and the Bold!}
