Frankly, I wish I’d never learned of this, because now I hear it everywhere. It’s in EVERY movie, even Lord of the Rings! It’s as ubiquitous as the Simpsons Snowball II cat shriek sound effect, which I’ve since heard so many times that I’m guessing it’s the only available cat sound effect in Hollywood.
