I’m kidding. Paper Clips looks like a really good movie, and it is an actual documentary. I wanted to follow with a smart-alecky comment, but I honestly don’t know how filmmakers could distort the truth to reflect an opinion in making a documentary about a school collecting six million paper clips to try to get an idea of how large a number six million dead Jews is. (I do wonder why they didn’t buy the clips in prenumbered boxes of 100 or 1000 instead of collecting them one by one….but I suppose it’s because the Jews were “processed” one by one in order to reach that number.)
And hey, how about that? The trailer didn’t spoil the ending of the movie by showing the collection of paper clips! If you want to see it…you have to go to the movie. Take that, Zemeckis!
