Job Wanted comic creator mentioned in New York Times!

D. J. (a/k/a “David” a/k/a “Big McLargehuge”) LoTempio, the writer of “Devil in the Playbox” from our upcoming comic book, Job Wanted, has had a moment of fame!

We linked last week to the article about Jenny Everywhere, the public domain character, and told you about D.J.’s own story featuring Jenny.

Now…well, I’ll let D.J. tell the story:

Turns out that the Jenny Everywhere character has jumped from a Canadian pop culture mag, to bOING bOING – the internet mag, to the International Herald Tribune, and finally to…wait for it…the New York Times September 14 edition – The Week in Review.

So, when I discover this bit of information, I think – “Oh sure, maybe they picked up the Exclaim article and just give an overview of the concept.”

No way. They actually made a composite scan of all the strips, including my bit, and ….wait for it….give each artist credit.

Some one pinch me. I made the NY Times. Weird.
