Argh! I mean, “Arrr, matey!

The CrossGen Web Site is not a great web site for such a great comic book company.

I wanted to find the promotional page or sub-site of the CGE website so that I could link to Chuck Dixon’s new pirate comic, El Cazador, which is on the stands today. However, as far as I can tell the site doesn’t HAVE anything for El Cazador! When you go to their web site, it still has that goofy planets navigation system. Not that it isn’t an ingenious nav that required a lot of time and talent, but there isn’t (again, as far as I can tell) an alternate menu for regular visitors who just want to get to the meat. Plus, as this illustrates, it is hard to keep it current when new books come out. The Planet Earth is there, and El Cazador is set on Earth, but it is not listed as a book taking place on Earth.

CrossGen needs a new web site, that much is clear.

Anyway…this link to preview art of El Cazador over on Comixtreme will have to do. The point is: go check it out! It’s in shops today, and it’s an honest-to-goodness pirate comic book!
