I think it’s a joke

The Thinker is dead. The Weasel is dead (killed by the Thinker). Killer Moth is now a monster. Shaggy Man is now shorn, called The General and I think he was lost in The Still Zone during “World War III” in JLA (although maybe that’s the second Shaggy Man). Killer Croc doesn’t look like that anymore either, according to the Hush storyline, even though I think that’s a dumb idea (How can a skin condition mutate you into a lizard?). That medusa guy from The Extremists is a deactivated robot. A lot of these other characters are out of continuity.

What am I talking about? Why, the cover of Formerly Known As The Justice League #4! There are so many continuity errors here that, for a moment, I was wondering if it’s totally intentional. Maybe they are trying to fill up a cover with all of the villains that more or less don’t exist? But Tobias Whale and a few others there are still in continuity.

But whoah to the fanboys. You just KNOW that this cover is going to be dragged out every time someone is debating the current status of a villain.
