Our new comic book, Job Wanted, should be available for ordering through the next Previews magazine.

IMPORTANT: We hope that all of you in this audience will ask your local comic shops to reserve a copy for you and stock additional copies on their shelves. We really can’t overemphasize how important that is, as most comic shops will not carry an independent comic unless their customers specifically request it.

Caveman Comics by Vintage Stock has already agreed to carry Job Wanted in their store and has recommended it to all of the stores in the Vintage Stock chain. Two stores in the chain, in Joplin, MO and Overland Park, Kansas, are also carrying it. They’ve even invited artist Kurt Belcher to come in and sign some of the comics. Thank you very much, guys!

Minneapolis-St. Paul stores (from the state where Erik Burnham and I live) The Source of Comics and Games and Uncle Sven’s have both been supporters and I’m hoping that we might do signings at both stores once the book is released. Details will be worked out later.

Want to get your store plugged on Monitor Duty? Easiest way is to carry “Job Wanted” in December! That’s right, it’s a patronage system just like the old political machines. You got a problem with that, you can take it up with Vinnie.
