Gothika is a new horror film starring Halle Berry (yay!) from the people who made Ghost Ship and House on Haunted Hill. (Neither is really a great film, but they both have their good parts. The opening of Ghost Ship is one of the most unsettling moments I’ve ever witnessed, and it’s too bad that the rest of the film could not live up to that first scene.

The Station Agent looks terrific. That film opens today. It’s about a dwarf (sigh – “little person”) who has retreated from the world but finds friends almost against his will.
