“The Secret Lives of Super-Villains” and “Checkmate: Pre-Emptive Measures.”

Checkmate in particular sounds like an action-packed read, but it doesn’t sound like the kind of thing that would get produced by a company that will greenlight a story with the political slant of JLA #83. As for the Super-Villains story, I should think it would sell very well during this period that has seen the success of JLA: Working Week and Formerly Known As The Justice League.
