Cartoon Network has announced that this year they will promote Free Comic Book Day on their high-rated station during a highly-watched time period.
All right! I can’t tell you how wonderful that is. I’ve been wondering for years why Time Warner doesn’t use its media pull to promote comic books with TV ads, and it’s finally happening. That’s the good news.
The bad news? It’s during Adult Swim. Don’t get me wrong, I love Adult Swim, as my post from last week shows. But why NOT run the ads during times when kids watch?
