  • My local Star Trek Museum!

I live over on the east side of Rochester, Minnesota. One fine day I was out walking when I noticed an odd blue sign in the distance. It was fuzzy and I could barely make it out… The heck?  I’ve never noticed that sign before.  Now, it’s probably been there all along, and I’ve been…

  • Ron Silver, RIP

Actor Ron Silver has passed away at the age of 62 after a two-year battle with esophageal cancer. Ron had many dramatic roles, but my favorite was always his playing the bad guy (as Ron Silver, an actor who was also the head of N.A.S.A.) on Ben Stiller’s aborted TV Series “Heat Vision and Jack.”…

  • TV Rarities I’d like to buy on DVD

This old article got me thinking…. There are a lot of TV shows that I’d love to be able to get my hands on in a DVD format. I’m not just talking about the hit shows that are bizarrely unavailable such as any further “King of the Hill” collections or the criminally-unavailable “Night Court”. (I…

  • I know what “Chuck” is, BBA.

I just don’t watch it, that’s all. Mr. Arndt, if you check your IM logs, you will see that all you said was that a show with Adam Baldwin was on opposite “Big Bang Theory”, so I had to ask you to explain it because I haven’t watched “Chuck” and didn’t know he was on…

  • Best of the Big Bang Theory

UPDATE:   Umm…did I do that?  These videos all had thousands of hits.  Then I link to them tonight and inside of two hours they are all removed by YouTube!  I can’t believe how much work I put into this post and now all the videos are gone.  I’m sorry you won’t be able to…

  • Charles Nelson Reilly dead. Also gay.

‘Game Show Fixture’ Charles Nelson Reilly, Gay, Dies at 76 Kidding. That’s not really what the headline says. Charles Nelson Reilly and Paul Lynde had three things in common: 1) They were both on Hollywood Squares. 2) They both had colorful, exuberant, ostentatious and ribald personae. 3) I didn’t know either of them were gay…

  • Some great scenes from Venture Bros. Season 2

I’ll admit: This scene is pretty cool. This rocks: But this is hands-down the geekiest and funniest scene ever! (Someone’s been watching me get dressed in the morning.) Hopefully, posting this was pointless because you all have the DVDs. But just in case you don’t… And don’t forget Season One

  • The Simpsons Already Did It

Granted, the Simpsons already did everything. Still, this makes a good case: Plagiarismo!

  • Comedian/actor Richard Jeni commits suicide

Comedian Richard Jeni, 49, has died of a gunshot wound to the face. Jeni played Jim Carrey’s best friend in “Mask” and later had his own TV show, “Platypus Man” on UPN for one season. If you’re not familiar with Jeni, check out his “Jaws 4” routine. Brilliant stuff. R.I.P.
