Oh yeah, it’s National Doughnut Day! That means you get free Krispy Kreme doughnuts today!
Now, two warnings:
1) Krispy Kreme regularly hands out a “free sample” when you go in on any given day. Their free sample is an entire doughnut, which is disconcerting because I usually go in to buy one doughnut. Krispy Kreme is determined to get you thinking of doghnuts like they are to be eaten by the handful. Which brings up the next warning:
2) Each one is 200 calories.
And in other news: Subway is giving you til the end of the month to redeem your stamps and then they won’t be honoring them due to widespread fraud and theft.
