• This gal abuses her comics

Eve Tushnet blogs about the whole monthly comics vs. trades discussion. Interesting perspective, considering I’m totally different from her. I treat my trade paperbacks extra carefully because they’re actual expensive books. But then, I take good care of my monthly comics, too. If I wanted comics to be disposable, I’d buy them printed on toilet…

  • Maybe this isn’t the best news piece title?

We’ve mentioned this subject before, but I’d like to comment on the way this news story is written: “Kim Jong-Il becomes an unlikely hero of Japanese manga” I don’t know why this is the title of the piece. I was getting extremely angry reading it because of its use of the word “hero.” I thought…

We’re going to have a booth for Shooting Star Comics…that’s right, a booth, not a table in artist’s alley…so be sure to look for us. Joining me will be Scott McCullar, Roz Terrill, John Morgan Neal and Jayme…

  • OEM Software

I have a few O.E.M. (Original Equipment Manufacturer) products. I wouldn’t even own Microsoft Office ’97 if not for my best friend working for a software company where he could buy an OEM copy and give it to me for Christmas. And I recently bought Norton System Utilities from Webworm and am quite satisfied at…
